Found Format is a directing duo born out of the Midwest, made with equal parts bubblegum and sulfuric acid. Shelby Goldstein

Shelby began her career as a fashion photographer, capturing intimate stills for Anthropologie and Reformation with models and celebrity talent alike. As a motion director, Shelby borrows from her photography background, lending a soft lens to each frame she films that brings a sense of vintage warmth and comfort to the moving image.

John Barrett

Stylized lighting cues and unique camera movements punctuate John’s visual style, utilizing everything available on set to produce an incredible image. His work on feature films, documentaries, commercials, and music videos  has allowed him a great deal of experience with all filming styles, which he’s added to his toolkit over the past ten years he’s been in the industry. 

With a strong background in camera technology and filming techniques, John’s experience as a cinematographer and drone pilot positions him with a deep understanding of what it takes to get a shot accomplished, and how to creatively problem-solve if the need arises.
